1080p videos on youtube choppy firefox: Don't let it ruin your viewing pleasure

YouTube HTML5 1080p@60fps videos in full screen are choppy, independently if the hardware acceleration is turned on or off. I've tried clean profile, I've tried these methods: _been_years_since_firefox_has_stutters_on/efpuhc5/ Nothing works. How can I fix this?
